Infanta's Creamy Cat JSK Review

Hello again!

About a week ago I got something special in the mail!  I ordered this jsk from Clobbaonline, and it was my first ever order from that service.  I filmed a review of Clobba fairly quickly after my order arrived, viewable here:

My order was quite successful!  I'm very pleased with how it went.

Now, on to the JSK...

Infanta's Creamy Cat!

If I could have a tea party with kitties every day, you know I would.  I think my favourite cat is that yellow one sitting next to the piece of cake, with the big red bow on her head and a little collar.

Along the sleeves and bodice is soft, lovely lace - and of course along the bottom hem, too.  And those waist ties... yes, paws!

This is the sweetest dress I own!  It makes me really hungry *0*

For pastries, mind you.

The JSK was less than $100 on Clobba.

This fits well and is very nicely constructed.  Infanta offers a range of sizes, as well as custom sizing, so you can guarantee something will sit nicely on you.

I ordered the wrist cuffs and headpiece has well, and several detachable bows were included.

This is definitely coming with me to A-kon this year!  I can't wait to coordinate it more!

Today, I paired it with a BtSSB blouse and a cute little star-shaped necklace my boyfriend gave me when we first started dating.  (Also, my crazy poofy chocolate-brown Arda wig)

I want more Infanta pieces now!  I also want to try some stuff from other smaller brands, like Classical Puppets or Dear Celine.  The quality of all of these brands seems to be really great, and the prices aren't that far off from Bodyline's stuff nowadays.  And I'm quickly falling out of love with Bodyline.

Anyway, talk to you later and thanks for reading!

Lolita Blog Carnival: What's new on your wishlist?

I'm jumping on the LBC bandwagon again, and this time with an actual blog.

This week's theme is a new wishlist item!  Currently, I'm going through doing my first order with the shopping service called Clobbaonline.  If all goes well and I like my order, then I plan to order again fairly quickly - and this is the thing that has caught my eye:

This is Infanta's "Dark Magic Party" JSK.  I wasn't crazy about this when I first saw it, but now every time I see it on Clobba's site I grow a little more in love with it.

Teapots, potion bottles, candles, and scraggly black kitty cats... I can't resist.  It's definitely very Halloween-esque, but that isn't a problem for me.  I'm one of those people that could deal with Halloween being a year-round holiday.

I know that the colour scheme of black, white, red, and gold can be a turn off for some.  I associate these colours in this art style with a sort of... cartoony gothic decadence.  Laugh if you want!  That's just what this JSK says to me.  And I like it!

But, just to put icing on the cake...

Oh goodness this little hat.  If I were to get the jsk, this would have to come with it.  It even has a little star on top!

Super spooky, super cute.  And the jsk by itself is less than $100!  This is definitely going on my wishlist as something I 100% plan to purchase.

For fun, I decided to put together a small coordinate plan using this jsk and hat, using items I already own (& some tights from sockdreams). ^_^

Hope you enjoyed & thank you for reading!

Blondie Lockes!

Last month I turned 21!

For my birthday, my boyfriend got me a doll I've had my eye on for a while: Blondie Lockes!

She's ultra-sweet and so very lolita.  It makes me happy to see dolls like this one coming out - it makes the style feel more real and accessible.

And I uh... had some macarons on hand.  So they're in the picture too.

She comes with a heart-shaped bag that resembles a lock, a large brush shaped like a key, and a stand.

On Blondie's skirt are... teddy bears?  I think they look more like cats in bear suits.  I do find the print very cute though, if a little silly.  We could deem it... whimsical, right?

Her skirt reminds me of something...  Haenuli's Royal Kitten, maybe?

At any rate, I'm glad to have her in my collection.  Several of the other dolls in the Ever After High line do have Lolita-esque qualities to their outfits, though this one looked the least costume-y to me, as if it could be a real, themed Lolita coordinate.

Unboxing video!
